Starting in the Fall of 1998, Muskegon County, through the process of maintaining parcel tax maps within the Equalization Department, began the process of converting to digital parcel mapping. This process of conversion began by converting all parcel mapping into AutoCAD files, then into ESRI person geodatabases, and now, in 2009, into ESRI's Enterprise GIS software, ArcGIS Server 9.3.1.
